LA Voters to Trutanich: "You're Fired!"

From the moment that the first results came in, it was over for Carmen 'the Clown' Trutanich.

Vote By Mail ballots gave City Attorney elect Mike Feuer a staggering 18 point lead. It was a lead that was to widen as precincts started reporting, and it fueled the upbeat mood at the Feuer campaign's victory party.

City Attorney elect Mike Feuer declares victory, surrounded by his family after receiving
a call from the defeated incumbent.

At 11:30PM Trutanich called Mike Feuer and 'sort of' conceded defeat. "If it carries on this way, then I will work with you to transition to the office," the failed incumbent said.

The mood at the Trutanich victory party had been anything but upbeat.

Failed incumbent City Attorney Carmen 'Nuch' Trutanich's taxpayer funded SUV was the only sign
that the humiliated loser was in the house. He remained secluded from the small group who gathered
a few doors away at Rocco's Taven to witness his monumental defeat.
While a small group of Trutanich Koolaide drinkers gathered at Trutanich's 'victory party' at Rocco's Tavern, the doomed incumbent remained huddled in the offices of 'longtime supporter' Mort Allen together with Sheriff Lee Baca. It is understood that Trutanich was reluctant to call Feuer and concede defeat, but the Sheriff persuaded him to 'man up' and make the call.

As we go to press, the latest bulletin from the City Clerk shows Mike Feuer with 61.38% of the vote, 22.77 points ahead of the failed incumbent, who continues to tank.

It is an historic margin of defeat for an incumbent.

Trutanich ran the City Attorney's office into disrepute with a form of egocentric maniacal 'leadership' that will haunt him for the rest of his career. His ludicrously thuggish motto 'The strong do as they will, the weak do as they must,' was one of several 'motivational' mottos that stamped his brand on the 8th floor executive office.

The thoughts of Carmen 'Nuch' Trutanich ...
One such motto posits that "There are 3 kinds of people; those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, and those who wonder what happened."

Tonight, as Trutanich was taken home in his chauffeur-driven taxpayer funded SUV, he would appear to be the third kind of person; wondering what happened? How could he have screwed up so badly?

Well done David! Thank you for leading the charge against the clown. He will not admit it, but the worst mistake of his political career was falling out with you. When are you going to tell us what happened?

D'ya think Nuch is wondering WTF he's gonna do now? Here's a clue - He is running for John Noguez seat as County Aaessor. You saw it here first. Baca has already supported the move and they will share a winning ticket in 2014.

24.29 points difference!!!!

For an incumbent this kind of difference can only be interpreted as utter humiliation.

The Los Angeles Voters basically walked all over Trutanich yesterday. They told him that they did not like the way that he ran the City Attorney’s Office and that they were firing him for this reason. They told him also that they are not stupid and they made certain that Trutanich receives that message loud and clear.

I am sure that Mr. Trutanich got the message.

Never underestimate the voters. Bad idea…..

It never fails. Whenever you read about some creepy political shenanigans or douche-baggery, Baca's name always surfaces. Tell me again why we keep electing this guy to be Sheriff?

Now it's time to explore the rumored pension spiking in the office with retroactive raises/promotions in the last several months timed to coincide with Nuch's defeat. All while the rank-and-file were taking major hits in their paychecks.

"The one race that seems to be certain is that for City Controller. The SurveyUSA poll shows Councilmember Dennis Zine continuing to build on his lead over rival Ron Galperin. Zine is now 13 points clear of Galperin, well up from the 6 point lead he held two weeks ago, and the trend clearly continues to favor the former LAPD Officer as the City's next Controller." David,

Now that Trutanich is gone, who are we going to play with?

I am already bored...

Panagiotis Theodoropoilous, are you kidding me! Look at all the crap that Baca has been involved in: Badge-gate, influence peddling and various deputy gangs. The whole disasterous state of the LA County jail. The skulduggery he engaged in during the crafting of realignment. And what about all the failed politicians that have been annointed by Baca.

And we haven't even touched the massive galaxy of assorted scandals surrounding Paul Tanaka.

BACA MUST GO!

Panagiotis: "Now that Trutanich is gone ..." Check out @8:40AM - Trutanich will run for County Assessor. It's an open seat, nobody even knew who the Assessor was or what he does until John Noguez got nailed on corruption charges. He will be on the same ticket as Baca, so he probably sees himself as a shoe in.

LA Voters took out Trutanich and his body Zine in one shot.

This is great for City Hall.

Baca should be next along with the Los Angeles County Supervisors who are ultimately responsible for all this corruption around LA County.
